Genus: Archboldia
Description
Two Bowerbirds from New Guinea.
They are very similar in appearance, both black with an orange-yellow crest. They are patchily distributed in the mountains of New Guinea.
Taxonomy
Archboldia is a genus in the family Ptilonorhynchidae.
New studies show that the two species should better be merged into one (which would be Archbold's Bowerbird).
