Taxonomy
Muscicapidae is a family in the Order Passeriformes.
The 2011 Clements update brought some changes to this family. Some families were moved from the family Turdidae to the Old World Flycatchers (Alethe, Chamaetylas, Brachypteryx, Myophonus and Monticola) and the genus Cochoa was moved to the family Turdidae.
