11-13 cm
- Dull green upperparts
- Greyish-white underparts
- White eye ring
- Dull brown primaries, secondaries and tail, edged green
- Black lores
- Pale yellow undertail coverts
- Chestnut iris (grey in juvenile)
- Black bill
- Grey lower mandible
Distribution
Christmas Island, (east Indian Ocean). Introduced Cocos (Keeling) Island.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Moist lowland forests and shrubland. Also found in residential areas.
