Identification

29cm. Pale grey forehead and forecrown, grey breast.

Distribution

Endemic to Bolivia.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species; some authorities place it as a subspecies in Monk Parakeet.

Habitat

Rocky areas and cliffs.

Behaviour

It nests in crevices of cliffs.

The diet includes seeds and maize crops.
