  • Glossy black plumage
  • Orange facial wattles
  • Long, rounded wings
  • Long tail
  • Bill is yellow above and black below

New Caledonia.

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Humid hill and secondary forests.

Behaviour

Quite a solitary bird.

Diet

The diet includes nectar and invertebrates.
