Similar Species

Long-billed Wren does not overlap in range.

Distribution

South America: found in northern Bolivia, adjacent south-western Brazil (south-western Mato Grosso) and Paraguay.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species1.

Was formerly placed in genus Thryothorus like all other species of the genus Cantorchilus.

Habitat

Scrub.

Behaviour

Vocalisation

A beautiful song.
