Identification
30 cm. All black, long-tailed, chestnut wing linings and axillaries. Long, slightly rounded tail. Conical, black bill.
Distribution
East Andes in Colombia.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Golden-tufted Grackle was split from Mountain Grackle.
Habitat
Forest mainly containing Oak in elevations producing subtropical and temperate climate and situated on the western slope of Eastern Andes in Colombia.
Behaviour
Very little seems to be known about this species except that it frequently is encountered in flocks.
