Pied Starling - BirdForum Opus

Revision as of 19:25, 23 February 2008 by Njlarsen (talk | contribs)

One of two species:

African Pied Starling; (Spreo bicolor) this is the most likely option, because Gill & Wright uses the name Pied Starling for this one.

Asian Pied Starling (Sturnus contra) which is called Pied Myna by G&W. As this species belongs to the genus Sturnus where all other members are called "Starling", the use of Myna seems strange.
