Distribution
Andes of Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and Peru.
Taxonomy
Three subspecies are recognized:
- U.j. saturata
- U.j. jelskii
- U.j. pallida
Habitat
Subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland and subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland.
