Taxonomy
Formerly sometimes placed in genus Myadestes.
Habitat
Scarce and very local in lower and middle growth in moist montanes inside foothill forest.
Behaviour
Usually occurring singly; inconspicuous and frequently overlooked unless singing. Singing birds flutter wings.
