Identification

Distribution

South America: found in Paraguay, Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia; migrating north to southern Venezuela in austral winter1.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[2].

This species has in the past been placed in genus Pseudattila.

Habitat

Moist lowland forests and montanes.
