Myrmotherula obscura

Identification

Similar to Pygmy Antwren but with a much shorter bill.

Distribution

Taxonomy

This is currently a monotypic species1.

A proposal to merge this species into Moustached Antwren, which itself has to first be split from Pygmy Antwren, has been accepted by one of the world wide checklists, but not by the other.
