Distribution

North-west Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru.


Taxonomy

The subspecies found in north-east Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil is often considered to be a separate species, the Eastern Slaty Thrush, T. subalaris. 1

Habitat

Temperate forests, moist lowland forests, and moist montane forests. 1
