Zoothera imbricata

Identification

27cm. Black scaling on a paler white or yellow background, black band on white underwings, visible in flight.

Distribution

Endemic to Sri Lanka.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species.
Formerly included in Scaly Thrush.
