  • Cream chest with dark brown vertical streaks

Distribution

South-east Asia: found in forests of Sulawesi, Banggai and Sula islands

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species.
It was formerly placed in the genus Spizaetus.

Habitat

Primary and secondary forests, from sea-level to around 2000 m.
