Western Africa: Senegambia, Senegal, The Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Mali, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Niger, Chad, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea and DRC
Eastern Africa: South Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania and Zambia.

Taxonomy

Habitat

Near water especially papyrus swamps and trees overhanging rivers.
