Distribution
Found in eastern Indonesia: Lesser Sundas, Kai Islands and Tanimbar Islands. Also in Timor-Leste.
Taxonomy
Clements accepts six subspecies:
- C. p. pollens on the Kai Islands
- C. p. floris on Sumbawa, Komodo, Rinca, Besar and Flores
- C. p. alfrediana on Lomblen and Alor
- C. p. sumbensis on Sumba
- C. p. personata on Rote, Semau, Timor, Wetar, Leti, Moa, Sermata
- C. p. unimoda on the Tanimbar Islands.
