Identification
Distribution
Samoa, Fiji, Tonga, and Wallis and Futuna Islands.
Taxonomy
Three subspecies recognized, each of them accepted as full species by Clements:
- F. c. procerior (Western Wattled Honeyeater) on western and central Fiji Islands
- F. c. taviunensis (Northern Wattled Honeyeater) on north-central Fiji Islands
- F. c. carunculatus (Eastern Wattled Honeyeater) on eastern Fiji Islands, Samoa and Tonga
Habitat
Moist lowland forests, mangrove forests and montanes.
