22cm. Blue forehead, dark brown crown and nape, off-white ear coverts, upper breast dark brown scalloped with yellow, green lower breast scalloped with yellow, black bill, bare grey/white eyering, orange eye.
Distribution
Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia and Brazil.

Humid lowland forests.
Behaviour
The diet includes fruit, seeds and flowers.
