Distribution

South America: found in Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador and Peru.

Taxonomy

Subspecies[1]

  • A. f. plengei:
  • Andes of Peru (Cordillera Carpish in Huánuco)

Moved to genus Asthenes by Clements (2010)[1] and IOC (2010)[1].

Habitat

Cloud forest, observed at heights of 3000 m.
