Neopelma aurifrons

Identification

13 cm. Grey-olive face and throat, olive chest, pale lemon belly and vent, slaty crown and nape, dull pale olive upperparts, sometimes shows yellow on centre of crown, dusky wings and tail, pale iris.

Distribution

Eastern Brazil.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Wied's Tyrant-Manakin was in the past considered to include Serra do Mar Tyrant-Manakin as a subspecies.

Habitat

Moist forests.

Behaviour

The diet includes fruit.
