The location is the western LOW-ELEVATION region of North Carolina, USA.
In the past week, I have seen Flocks of birds, with a mixed flock of Black Throated Green and Chestnut-Sided Warblers being the most interesting. The chestnuts that I saw were all first years?, and were flying down from the mountaintops where they were hatched this summer.

I went to a town called Hendersonville with a local bird club yesterday. we saw 10 species of warblers as well as one or more yellow billed Cuckoos. Jackson Park was loaded with birds and birdwatchers!
