Please could someone help with an ID of this flower that was plentiful at Barnack Hills and Holes near Peterborough, UK today.

Michael - I've just looked at this in my elderly Collins Guide (published 35 years ago), and it's given ** which indicates it is a scarce plant which is only grown in limited areas. How is it faring now?
 
Campanula Glomerata , Clustered Bellflower , my 1984 guide says " frequent in grassland on chalk limestone in the South and East .....

Should imagine this is a wild one then as it was at one of the richest limestone grassland sites around here. It was plentiful. Thanks for the help everyone.
