(Only 5 species now to beat my 81 species target in the radius limit, so looking like am seeing more diversity in 2012 than 2011).

(Seen in this period within the radius was: autumn incoming large goldfinch flocks, greylag geese, starling flocks, lapwing, mallard, teal, jay, also osprey, red kite, reed bunting, meadow pipit, pheasant, wood pigeon, crow, raven, heron, mute swan, buzzard, pied wagtail, song thrush, robin, wren, swallow, sand and house martin. Seen locally included sparrowhawk, jackdaw, house sparrow, starling, collared dove, great tit, blackbird, robin, swift, swallow, house martin, estuary gulls and cormorant numbers on local estuary up to 14 this summer, heron, oystercatcher, curlew, rock pipit).

(Seen in this period Sep-Oct, within the radius was: autumn incoming large siskin flocks, greylag geese, starling flocks, lapwing, curlew, mallard, teal, shoveler, snipe, marsh harrier, red kite, skylark, pheasant, wood pigeon, crow, raven, heron, cormorant, mute swan, goosander, tufted duck, buzzard, pied wagtail, song thrush, robin, wren, swallow, house martin. And now migrated ospreys. Seen locally included sparrowhawk, jackdaw, house sparrow, starling, collared dove, great tit, blackbird, robin, song thrush, swallow, house martin, long-tailed tit flocks, estuary gulls and curlew).
