Heard a cuckoo calling this morning off Longdales Road. First time I've heard one here since we moved here in 2011. Nice to hear!
 
Nice one....not heard or seen one so far this year......even at places where everyone has.......can remember hearing them every year when Longdales was just fields when a kid in 50's-60's.
Which direction was it calling from.....??
