Dunno how to prevent it, Henry - it's odd. Are you getting it a lot?

But getting rid...

I've attached a very quick and dirty copy where I zoomed into the image (using nothing more than a free image editor called Photofiltre), sampled the "correct" eye colour using the eye dropper tool, then painted the right colour in with a very fine brush.

Any decent graphics/image app. will have the same or equivalent tools, and a bit of time spent will produce much better results than this...
