Does anyone know when should I take out the hummingbird feeder? I'm in the Southern Ontario area in Canada. Thanks.

With all this nice weather we've been getting, I've been feeling a little optimistic and put my feeders out today too. Who knows?!

Any flower that's red, orange or yellow will attract hummers. In particular, look for flowers that have a tubular structure about an inch long in these colours - these are evolved as 'hummer-specialist' flowers. Things like Salvias, Penstemons, Trumpet Vine, etc.
