Angry Semip' Plover (Charadrius semipalmatus)

The juvenile Semip' Plovers sometimes decided that they wanted to be alone and feed in peace...so they chased off any other birds in the area.

It was an action I wanted to photograph but it often happened too quickly and without warning. I couldn't believe it when this plover suddenly appeared in front of me and started to display at another bird. A bit tight in the frame for my taste but better than nothing at all ;)

1/500, f11, ISO 250, full frame.
