Another of my lovely Willow Tit
Before I take you on the walk round the lake, here's a quite different pose of this gorgeous wee tit, showing his diagnostic pale wing panel and the pale spot on the bill.

Actually there were so many flitting about there, I don't know if this was the same one, or a different guy.

What I've just discovered is, that the subspecies in Norway is different from the ones seen in Norway.
Habitat
Mountain forest
Location
Hell, Trondheim, Norway

Scientific name
Poecile montanus borealis

superb, Delia!!! another great photo of this wee little tit, top job, many tfs!!!

Ah! You caught him on the bamboo rod! A favorite spot for me to focus the camera and wait for the birds to stop there on their way to the feeder. And thanks for checking the sub-species. I didn't realize ours here were different from yours in the UK, but it makes sense. They don't migrate, at least not far, so over time populations with the North Sea between them would differentiate.
