Tiger, tiger .... sad, not bright
lifeless eyes, no longer alight
hunted and hounded, day and night
many lost, hopeless plight
who is man, to raise a hand
and take the life, of one so grand
forests consumed, shrinking home
soon we'll be left, all alone
free the king, blazing eyes a sight
what we made wrong, must be set right
