Boat-tailed Grackles, Females
Boat-billed Grackle (Quiscalus major major) females. Girls morning out.
Habitat
Gulf Coast Marshes and Prairies vegetation area, Coastal Prairie dominated by salt meadow cordgrass at ca. 1.5 m (4.9 ft) elevation. It was controlled burned last year.
Location
Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge, Chambers County, Texas, USA.
