Fantastic timing of this mega cutie bailing off of its perch. Excellent stop-action, focus, detail, and setting. Terrific work John!

A well timed capture of this lovely long tailed tit, John. They do flit about quickly!

Great work to catch the little jumper,John. They don't hang around for long so a great find and a very nice action shot.

standing on the edge of its feather ....
perfectly timed stop action shot, John, a real beautiful capture of this little cutie, love it, many tfs!!

Expecting to fly was the theme song of a late evening program on the Dutch pirate radio Veronica in the 60s and 70s, presented by the late Tinneke, and the first time I actually heard Neil Young. Certainly one of the saddest songs ever, great music indeed.

That was a long, long time ago
I can still remember… 🥲

I had one in my back garden sat below my feeding station I just peaked out to see if any other of the birds that come & there it was….& l quickly grabbed my bird book to identify it? I had never seen one before. It was such horrible wet weather but it sat for a good while longer then off it went. It returned the next day to. Such a beautiful cute bird 😍😵 Such a joy to watch. I’m new to birding just since last September. Now l could watch them all day long from the window. So relaxing. The Lady across from my back garden feeds the 200+ flock of Starlings & 41 Pigeons so I have everything in cages. You can’t have anything out because of them. Your photo is just so cute & l am very sure it was so lovely to see one & take it’s photo.
