OMG. Amazingly detailed close-up of this male Dickzissel (wiki, German :LOL: or Redshouldercardinal - Rotschulterkardinal). Stunning nearness with beautiful colours/blur.
The Spanish wiki entry is even more interesting.

We saw thousands of these in Trinidad, but always in big flocks flying past. Superb shot, Stanley!
