A bird I have struggled with for quite a while to get a decent shot of.

Nice shot. We seem to be overrun with Tree Swallows at the moment, with a few Barn thrown in. Not that I'm complaining. They eat the mosquito's, and I've already been bitten half a dozen times. Need more of them!
 
excellent shot Ian. so rarely do these buggers seem to slow down for a break. great closeup.
