Cooper's hawk
I've never seen one in flight up close; its unusual flap-flap-glide caught my attention. Luckily, it came around a second time and my camera was ready. Based on the size, I think this was a female, and it looks like it has just fed. I wish I saw more of these awe-inspiring birds.
