Wow, that is a spectacular bird! I love the trogon/quetzal family, and this is sure no exception! And it's also a new BF database species! :up:
 
What i wouldn't give to see that bird, let alone photograph it so beautifully! I'm guessing these are pretty shy birds and hard to see?

Yes, Inga, they are very shy birds and often hard to pick out in the canopy. They are calling at the moment, which makes them a little easier to find. Tandayapa is an excellent place to see them however, especially if you have me as your guide ;-)
