Digesting his Meal (Accipiter cooperii)

This Cooper's Hawk did not seem disturbed by any of the folks walking, biking and running through his area. I have another shot that shows how full his crop is - but it's not as focused.

Duck Creek Parkway, Garland, Texas
Date taken
June 15, 2008
Scientific name
Accipiter cooperii

A splendid shot Lisa! He looks as though he's wondering whether he should have eaten quite so much. :-O
