Not wonderful weather here in France, similar to that back in the UK. Birding has been quite good except that we dipped on Bee Eater this year, not arrived yet - too cold!!! So I had to make do with this Tern and the youngster!
The food and wine are still good though!!

A great shot of these terns Kim. The youngster doesn't seem to interested though.
 
Lovely shot, Kim, (have you treated yourself to a new lens?) weather dire here last week but it bucked up a bit at the week-end, back to grey skies, hail and thunder storms again today!!

Most of the lakes we regularly visit are very high indeed (and so is the Loire) and we're wondering if that's why we have seen hardly any Terns. Their sandbank nesting places on the river will be under water!
