Is it a bird? Is it a plane? (Colobus guereza)

These elegant monkeys take mighty leaps from one tree to another as they crash through the forest canopy. When the need takes them they literally fly through the trees -but with considerable noise from breaking branches and snapping twigs!

Black and White Colobus have only 4 digits on each hand as they lack thumbs. This is thought by some to be an adaptation which allows quick movement through the trees.
