Itchy and Scratchy (Aptenodytes patagonicus)

Taken in fading light on the foreshore at King Edward Point, South Georgia. For some reason these two seemed to have very itchy behinds, and wonderfully flexible necks to allow them some relief!

What a splendid composition, really superb - and perfect exposure too. I like this very much.
