IT'S CHRISTMAS ! (Larus ridibundus)

For those with a memory from the 70's and probably every year since. Slades "Merry Christmas Everyone" gets hours of airtime. The bit where Noddy the lead singer shouts "Its Christmas" was originally taken from this chap - All the best to everyone on Birdforum. Hope you all have a Peaceful and Happy Christmas & New Year.

We call this one a "laughing gull" in swedish so I guess this is a happy customer. :) Merry Christmas,Marmot and thanks for being at BF

I must say that this bird's summer plumage is much more suitable for a Christmas greeting than it's winter plumage - very nice indeed!! Thanks very much Margarete! (can't wish you a Merry Christmas as it is almost over by now :sad:)
