Last Ring Ouzel pic
A final shot of the bird that was in the grounds of my flat on 24 October. I was able to watch and photograph it for only about four minutes before it flew (not disturbed by the camera; it seemed quite relaxed foraging, though the species is very wary).

Perhaps my most memorable (certainly most unexpected) self-found bird. And the first Ring Ouzel I'd seen since 1987.

another wonderful photo, John, excellent with the robin in the same frame. I guess this kind of unforeseen encounters is what makes birdwatching so thrilling at all times, many thanks for sharing these pictures with us!!

A beautiful top view of this Ring Ouzel John and I like the fact that the Robin gave it its space ;)

Another excellent shot of this lowland rarity. Even the Robin looks a bit puzzled to see the Ouzel there ;)

A lovely shot of your visitor, John, and the robin is a bonus!
