On a Costa Rican Skywalk

On our recent cruise we had one day in Costa Rica, after passing through the Panama Canal. We went on a tour that took us 2000 feet up into the mountains, where we walked through the rainforest over a series of 7 suspension bridges. Just after hubby took this pic we had great looks at a Chestnut-mandibled Toucan, followed later by a family of white-faced capucin monkeys. Bliss..........!

From the left: water bottle carrier, bins, new Canon Digital Rebel with 300mm lens to shoot the birds, waist pouch carrying my CR field guide, notebook & pen to write down all those lifers, insect repellent, sunscreen, Coolpix 4500 for the scenic views, spare batteries and flash cards - well you did ask!!

:'D :'D LOL, Helen! I see you are well prepared for thoroughly enjoying your expeditions! Nothing lacks! ;) Great to see you again, you intrepid lady! :t:
