Weekends are for macro. With folks stomping and staggering around the public patch, not much birding to be done. Our most prolific frog here. Recent emergence of toads, grasshoppers, and crickets plus other invertebrates has provided well for them so far. App. 3 inches (75mm) long in depicted posture

Thanks everyone. That was one very cooperative frog. Little dickens would let water striders approach at side.
Slurp them up obliquely, too quick to anticipate and catch with a pic.
