"Snowcapped" Sparrow (Spizella arborea)

These little cuties have just started visiting my feeders again for the winter. The lighting is terrible with grey skies, but just couldn't resist sharing this "snowcapped" puffball!
Location
Ohio yard
Date taken
Dec 9 2010
Scientific name
Spizella arborea
Equipment used
Kodak easyshare, 6.1 megapix
Awwww! They do look their cutest all puffed up trying to stay warm. I hope he makes it though to Summer, though, even if he'll look plainer without the snowy contrasts.
