Ruff on the Run

Having declared no new photographs, I had a really 'lucky' morning yesterday with this juvenile Reeve. She just happened to fly in to the lagoon where I was standing and proceeded to feed for about an hour just within photographic range. The light wasn't great but you can't have everything (of course, the sun came out the minute she flew off, lol).

Great detail, setting, and lighting, Hobbes, very well done. It's funny how often birds find you, rather than you looking for them. It's always worth just waiting in an area if you have the time.

A beautifully composed image of this lovely little wader. A lack of sun isn't always a bad thing if there is enough ambient light. This one looks very good to me. Nice one Hobbes.
