Saturn Rising (Eulampis jugularis, Saturn)

This Purple-throated Carib is so busy feeding to notice the giant rising behind him;)
This scene takes place on Saturns strange moon Iapetus, which in reality is a cold and desolate place with no life, lakes or hummers to be found.

Saturnian system
Scientific name
Eulampis jugularis, Saturn
Equipment used
Acrylic paint, black paper, pastels and colouring pencils

Beautiful work, Sam. I never know quite what to say about Art, I don't know any technical terms or similar. It's interesting and pleasing to the eye is how I feel about this (see, I told you I never know what to say|=)|)

Aki--you can go there in dreams;) I like this view better like you do:t:
Eric--you are most welcome my friend:t:
Chris--the best thing to do is say what you feel, if artwork makes you think or feel something than the artist has achieved they're goal(thats the best piece of advice i can give you):t:

Thanks you three for your wonderful words and for taking the time out to study this piece:t::t::t:
