Silhouette
Had the sun in completely the wrong place for this picture, but couldn't do anything about it when these three ladies swam past.

I didn't get too many pictures of Eider on that trip. All the males seem to have disappeared completely. I guess they go elsewhere after they've done their breeding job!!

A brilliant setting and reflective capture you have of these passing Eider Delia, well done.

When I went to Northern Island there were Eider Females with the little ones, but not a Male to be seen.

That's called "fun and run" ;)

A lovely triple silhouette capture of these Eiders D.

Did we not see any up at Tautra? Hmmmm. I should have taken you to Inderya for those. There tend to be loads of them in the harbor area there. Or if we'd gotten out to the other end of Tautra, we might have seen them around the nesting boxes.
p.s. The village up at the north end of Smla is called Veiholmen. You've switched the e and i around.
