i think the shot fantastic as it is and it make a fantastic statement against this kind of interfering in wildlife.
 
Very nice image - I notice that a lot of Red Kite shots show wing tags - I guess these birds are intensely managed. I checked the image without the tags and that work was well done. I can't say which one I prefer - the way it is or the way it should be. Thanks for the post.
 
Great Kite flight shot, tags or not.

If it was me, I'd be happy with the image as is, because it would have been what I actually saw. I'd also leave it because, being lazy and not having the time (I take over 200 pictures every day, often more than twice that), I don't do any image manipulation apart from cropping and resizing.
 
Thanks Paul and Chris. Perhaps the wing tags tell a story as well as being symmetrical :)

Chris, I used to race pigeons as a teenager many years ago. Quite successful too! Birds were always my first love........they never fail to entertain me ;)
