Spider Snack! (Lamprotornis superbus)

This Superb Starling was collecting food for nearby nestlings. It caught a juicy spider in a crack on this stump. At least everyone was guaranteed a leg!

Beautiful. The starling is striking with its iridescent colors and top marks for perfect timing. Nice perch and excellent bokeh.
